"A cost efficient eco-friendly product labeling solution."
In mold labeling is the use of pre-decorated plastic labels during the manufacturing of containers by blow molding, injection molding or thermoforming processes. In mold labeling works well with four-colour process images for colored and clear containers and lids. Up to two spot colors may also be used, and metallic inks are available. The finished label is placed into the mold cavity and is permanently adhered to the part when the resin fills the mold. This premium decoration cannot be removed and is highly scratch resistant.
In mold labeling offers several major advantages:
Heat transfer labeling is great for sharp, bright colors and high-quality photographic images. Metallic, fluorescent, pearlescent, and thermochromatic inks are available in matte and gloss finishes. Printing operation in real time without interrupting the production chain, minimizing the data editing and ribbon replacement time.
Silkscreen printing is a printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. The inks used in silkscreen printing are durable. The colours are extremely vivid, particularly for outdoor uses, making this a unique reproduction technique.
The offset printing process provides the most efficient method for high speed, large volume printing of multi-colored line copy, half-tones and full process art on preformed plastic parts. This option is widely used and can be completed at very high speeds. It minimizes the creation of wasted prints with insufficient contrast. It costs less to produce high quality printing and the image quality is consistently good.
