In line with Plastictecnic’s sustainable initiative, we have implemented a dual high tech hydroponic set using Nutrient Film Technology (NFT) in the office to promote sustainable urban farming. Hydroponics has various attributes such as maximize space, water conservation and improve indoor greenery. It will act as a preliminary project to kick start Plastictecnic’s journey toward sustainability excellence. As an addition, all harvest will be shared with the contributors to sustainability goals.

Hydroponic system addresses space issues with a reduction in consumption in waste reduction, preservation of water and elimination of reliance on pesticides, fertilizers and other potentially harmful materials. We managed to harvest 1.74kg of coral leaves!
