On February 5th, 2024, Plastictecnic Bangi employees prepared for a day of transformation. It was time for the much-anticipated housekeeping event, an opportunity for each department to clear out the clutter and embrace a fresh start for the new year. With determination in their hearts, teams set out to tackle the task at hand, sorting through old documents and tidying up their workstations.

As the day progressed, the results of their efforts became evident. Piles of outdated paperwork accumulated as employees meticulously combed through archives and desk drawers. The office echoed with the sounds of rustling papers and the clatter of discarded items, signaling the beginning of a clean sweep. By day’s end, an impressive 3.2 tons of paper waste had been collected, a testament to Plastictecnic’s commitment to creating a cleaner and more organized work environment.

But the cleanup didn’t stop there. Alongside the paper waste, 224 kg of electronic waste had also been gathered, ready to be recycled and repurposed. Broken devices and outdated gadgets found new life through sustainable practices, diverting them from landfills and reducing Plastictecnic’s environmental impact. With each discarded item and recycled component, Plastictecnic reaffirmed its dedication to sustainability, paving the way for a greener future one cleanup at a time.
